Axel & Ollie
The story is set in Los Angeles California, a city known for its competitive skateboarding scene. A young girl, Ollie, rummages around for some new wheels in her grandmother’s attic to prepare for the town’s 25th annual skate competition. In her search she discovers ritual items that can summon those who have passed on. Determined to win the competition, and prove to her town she’s got what it takes to go national, she calls upon the ghost of skateboarding legend Axel Jimenez to teach her his signature moves! All in the shadows, an eccentric fanatic for all things paranormal catches wind of Ollie’s new friend, and hatches a scheme to capture this ghost for herself!

A young girl from late 1800s New Orleans stumbles her way into a jazz-drag show hosted by the sickening Mama Gras! Her incredible performance sparked a fire for music in her soul like she's never felt before. Will her new-found love for drag and jazz help her come to terms about her own identity, or will her conservative father mold her back into shape?
Student Films
Flora is a SCAD senior Beauty and Fragrance thesis currently in development. It is an animated commercial for the brand Darphin Paris. It follows the story of a young girl Gigi who embarks on a dream-filled adventure which highlights the whimsy and joy of using their products.

Gigi
Gigi is an adventurous little girl who finds herself in a magical new world after drifting off to sleep. I was tasked with doing initial concept designs for her.

A Divine Lesson
A Divine Lesson is an independent animated short film currently in development. It follows the story of a young angel and devil when their assignments in heaven and hell, respectively, are mixed up. Chaos ensues as they both learn to navigate being the odd-one-out, and finally learning to accept their flaws and embrace their differences. I am no longer working on this project, but enjoyed my time with the team.
I was tasked with designing one of the lead characters, "Archangel Joy," who is the headmaster of Heaven and a motherly figure to the devil girl Angie.
Personal Art
The following is a collection of character designs of my original story. Andre, Ari, Sato, and Malik are four 20-something-year-olds trying to make it in the alternative music scene of Atlanta while also trying to navigate their relationships , mental health, and past traumas. Eventually they will be used in a future, more fleshed-out project, but are currently just practice.
Ari
Ari Thompson is a spunky, bad-mouthed girl with… mostly good intentions. She’s the main character of the story and drives most of the plot due to her relationships with the other characters.
Sato
Eli Sato (just call her Sato) is the life of the party. She’s confident, loud, and not afraid to speak her mind. Her and Ari have been best friends since middle school.
Andre
Andre Hill is an anxious, introverted, yet witty musician who specializes in a sonic blend of jazz-hiphop and punk music. He is Ari’s partner and their relationship amidst navigating musical fame is one of the main drives of the plot.
Malik
Malik Hill is Andre’s older brother and manager. He’s been taking care of Andre since they were young, and intends on making sure he’s taken care of in the music industry as well. He’s about as selfless as one can get, even to his own expense.
